In the Moment
I do not know what it is, but for some reason I have never been good at giving answers when put on the spot. Going back to my childhood in elementary through high school years I have consistantly fallen short on test, mid-terms, and finals because of this anxiety driven falling. Not only do I fall short in school, but it also affects how I react when unexpected issues arise; particularly when the issues are problematic. Many times when I find myself in these problematic issues there is a sense of unfairness that cripples me to see the good and only focus on the negative.
I say this because I could not help but think that this type of experience might be what the writer of Lamentations was going through. The state of life was so negative that it crippled the writer into seeing the circumstance only through a pessimistic lens.

You have taken a challenge and turned it into a opportunity to reflect theologically well done.
