What was the author’s intent for writing Job?  Was there a theological development taking place here? Meaning, was the author trying to exhibit how  the God they serve function oppose to foreign gods of  during this period.

This is the first time we experience a dialogue between God and Satan in the Bible.  Can you assist me with understanding the significance of this interaction?
