The key members of The Beatles included Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. Earlier members included Stuart Sutcliffe (bass) and Pete Best (drums). Keyboard player Billy Preston was given credit as a contributor on The Beatles track Get Back on the group’s last studio album, Let It Be. The Beatles evolved from a British Skiffle band called The Quarrymen, which included Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, and Sutcliffe.
