I have a friend who is older and wiser and is very successful in business on the east coast. Several years ago he wrote me a letter telling me how valuable reading the Proverbs daily had become to him. He encouraged me to read one each day and every month I would read through the book. I did this for about a year. The insights that I gained were invaluable. I could see transactions occur that were just discussed in the chapter that I had read that day. I could see that wisdom and knowledge of the Lord was more important than the dollar that so many chase. It is refreshing to get back into the Proverbs.
